My name is Bridget McLaughlin. For over 15 years, I have worked in the field of education in a variety of roles and contexts. My experience includes curriculum and instructional design, materials development, teaching, and teacher training. In everything I do, my goal is to equip teachers and learners with the resources they need to enable high-quality teaching and learning to take place.
These days, I work as a curriculum editor for online and blended courses at Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. Before transitioning into higher education, I spent several years in the publishing industry, developing educational products for global markets. I also worked as a teacher and teacher trainer in Europe, Asia, and the United States. I hold a Master of Arts in International Educational Development from Teachers College, Columbia University, and am currently pursuing a Master of Education in Instructional Design at the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
I’m based in northern New Jersey, where I spend my free time traveling, hiking, and doing volunteer trail maintenance. When I can’t get outside, I keep busy with cooking and making my way through the many books I’ve accumulated that are waiting to be read.
